Cold espresso can taste bright and luxurious—if you manage dilution and temperature.
Shakerato (1 serving)
- 1 double espresso (30–45 g)
- 8–12 g simple syrup (or to taste)
- Ice to fill shaker
Shake hard ~15 seconds; strain into a chilled glass. Fine foam, no chunks.
Freddo Espresso
- 1 double espresso over ice; shake with 6–10 g syrup; strain over fresh ice.

Coffee Tonic
- Tall glass with ice
- 150–180 g tonic
- 35–45 g espresso poured gently on top
Add citrus peel if you like.
